Tip-on sticker for a book cover or slip case

Tip-on sticker for book cover, set-up for the option.
A tip-on sticker for book cover is an image usually printing in process color on a permanent adhesive backing. It affixes to the cover. The cover wrap of the book is most often cloth or leather. A gloss or matte lamination applies, giving the sticker a custom look. The 0.125 inch bleed trims off.
Beautiful cover
The book printing by Star Print Brokers, which is in Bellevue, WA. However, Nancy Starkman cannot take credit for this particular design. However, isn’t it a beautiful cover? Also, they do not print in China, but print in other countries in Asia. The cost is much lower and quality much higher than book printing in the USA, we are sorry to say. But, we focus on cost and quality for self-publishers.
The book designer may create a file for a foil or blind stamp with the tip-on sticker. The sticker can be almost any shape, and may be put on a slip case too. You cannot find options like this with print on-demand services.
The sticker (tip on) InDesign file set-up
The InDesign set-up is simply the exact dimensions of the sticker. Add 0.125 inches or 3 millimeters bleed. If you want foil stamping, then include a black box about 0.125 inch larger than the size of the sticker, showing where it will be put.
If there is to be no foil, the printer may also request a separate file showing where the sticker will appear on the cover.
