Custom book slipcase option

Custom book slipcase – lower cost – higher retail price.
A custom book slipcase is simply a box open on just the spine side. It can be made for a single book or for sets of two or more volumes. We only sell slip cases with book orders. Read more at Star Print Brokers. Slip cases can manufacture so that both narrow ends are open, but that is unusual.
A fine photography or art book is that much more beautiful when it comes in a book slip case. If you have a high page count book, break the book up into two or more volumes and present them in a slip case.
Adding a few dollars for a slip case can increase the retail price of the book by quite a bit more than the cost without a slip case.
A variety of materials
Hardcover coffee table books might have a cover wrap that is prints your design, or select a faux cloth or faux leather, real cloth, or bonded leather. The book may have a standard dust jacket. If you want to really set it apart, add a French fold dust jacket. The slip case can be in the same material or something different. Soft cover or paperback books with a flat spine can also be in a slip case. Design it anyway you wish, but before finalizing the design, it is wise to get a quote.
Most often the slip case has a blind stamp or a foil stamp. Some also have a permanent adhesive, printed sticker, called a tip-on image. A matte lamination or UV coating is usually added.
A book slip case is an inexpensive luxury
Suppose that you want to print 1,000 hardcover books. Just 100 to 500 slip cases manufacture at the same time. The author may want a regular edition book and a premium edition. The premium edition sells for a higher price.
You cannot order a single slip case as a one-off standalone item. They manufacture with the book for the best fit. Adding a few dollars for a slip case can increase the retail price of the book by quite a bit more than the cost without a slip case.
