Nancy from Star Print Brokers

The executive team consists of Nancy Ostling Starkman and Edward Starkman. They are the founders of Star Print Brokers, incorporating the business in 1999.

Nancy is the president of the corporation. Also, she is the author of Book Design: Simple & Professional and it is available on Amazon.

Her experience is in: publishing, printing, color separations, graphic design, and of course, book design. In summary, her experience spans several decades.

The team

Star Print Brokers, Inc. came about because of Nancy and Edward’s desire to own a business and work together. It was born out of their unique backgrounds. This executive team utilizes their combined experience, education, and expertise. They see to the manufacturing of high-quality books that are well-bound. Star Print Brokers offers custom book options. Their clients are authors and publishers in the USA and around the world.

The co-founder and vice-president is Edward Starkman. Previously, he worked on Wall Street as an airline industry analyst for more than a dozen years. His last position was as a vice-president for UBS.

Both Nancy and Edward came to live in Bellevue, Washington. While frequent travel to New York and London sounds glamorous, it becomes too much. That is how they made the decision to start their own company and really enjoy life … which they do!
